Red Leather. Condition: Very Good. N/a. Second Edition. 370pp. Second edition improved. No date - circa 1860 - first edition 1852. Full red-brown leather - the boards elaborately blind-stamped with five raised bands to the spine. All edges gilt. Around 9 tissue guarded engraved plates including the frontispiece plate. Several co…rners bumped and some rubbing to these corners and to the head and tail of the spine and less so to the raised bands. The text block remains very clean, tight and well preserved. A very good copy of a scarce book.
