Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. First edition hardcover in salmon cloth.251 pages with an introduction by Ben Ames Williams. The letters of Maine farmer and sportsman Bert McCorrison, to Ben Ames Williams. A wonderful look into the life on a Maine farm in Searsmont, Maine from 1922 until 1930. Bert was one of the characters featured in William's Fraternity Village and The Happy End. A fascinating and touching read, with much hunting and fishing interest. Light soiling, fading to spine, else good plus. No jacket.
