Mass Market Paperback. Condition: Good. First Paperback Edition. First UK paperback edition from 1962. Originally published in hard covers in the UK by MacGibbon & Kee in 1959. Copyright date given as 1949 so there was presumably a US edition around that time. Spine has reading creasing, edge rubbing and chipping at the top and…bottom with small tears at the top and bottom next to the front cover. The covers have small creases to the corners and light surface marking. The page edges are browned with a small stain to the fore edges and a pen mark across the top edges. The pages are browned with some insect damage to the top corners at the front and back of the book but are otherwise unmarked. First printing. Postage charge will be reduced by £1.50 when the order is processed.
