Boards lightly rubbed, with heavier wear along edges; spine cocked; scattered marks on rear board; corners lightly bumped. Previous owner's name on label on front pastedown; another label partly removed. Light foxing to title page; otherwise pages almost entirely clean. Both hinges cracked; front free endpaper, frontispiece and two other plates detached but present; 3 plates taped in; gutters starting to crack in places. John Copland (illustrator).
