With colorful paper over boards, this 12mo (6.00" x 7.50") is in Fair condition: quite clean with the occasional small smudge, unmarked save for former owner's name in neat pen to top of ffep & old gift inscription dated 1928 to half-title page. One page has a short unclosed tear ascending from bottom edge (photo 3). Map endpapers, hinges secure, binding strong & straight. Exterior shows moderate rubbing to extremities, heaviest at corners, joints, & both ends of spine. Some paper loss to center of fore edge side of rear board, center of spine on front board. The box lid is vg with two edgetears near left corners. The cover illustration is not rubbed or otherwise damaged. Printed signature of illustrator on pictorial endsheets is often mistaken for being an in-person autograph. Book.

The story is about three little frogs and some magic oil which allows them to jump to anywhere in the world they want to go, as long as they make and keep, three simple promises for as long as they lived. Failure to do so results in adverse consequences for the offending little frogs. The pages of the book are in pristine condition. This book is one of the Volland "Sunny Book Series". The condition of the book is VERY FINE and the condition of the box is FINE.
