Complete with a total of 84 pictorial cigar bands, printed in colour, each within gilt frame. The first two series, with 28 cards each, are mounted; the 28 cards of the third series are still fresh-new, unmounted, preserved in an envelope. Extended captions. Plus 4 pages of advertisements, one in colour. Original pictorial thick card wrappers, ring-bound as issued. In fine condition. Excellent copy, complete in all respects, remarkably well preserved. ~ FIRST EDITION. A charming collection, depicting the cavalry of Britain, France, and Germany respectively. Produced with the collaboration of the Army Museums in Leiden and Bruxelles. Ritmeester published these collectibles from 1887. Rare. METAL-9.
