Le loro imprese suscitano ilarità perché sono sempre portate avanti con i problemi legati all'età avanzata, ma ciò non li ridicolizza, anzi, li rende più adorabili. Tutta la storia, seppure variamente intrecciata ad altre storie, si svolge in un piccolo paese della città metropolitana (Roma), dove per uno strano caso del destino, si ritrovano a vivere i discendenti di alcuni grandi personaggi dell'anarchismo.
