The spine is in a very good condition apart from two small nicks (one on the front and one on the back). There is no Pen writing on the front or rear end pages. The pages are bright with very minimal foxing. The front and rear end pages have slight tanning. Throughout the book there are photographs of architecture, pieces of music and portraits of individuals spoken about in the book. Overall the book is in a very good condition and the reading pages are in a VG condition.
