Front endpapers a little grubby; the front free endpaper has a corner crease, a tiny hole and slightly warped; the first 20 or so pages are slightly rolled at edges. A comprehensive, evocative account of the Sullivan Expedition of 1779, which although a tale of reckless daring against a lurking for in a forest wilderness, shows how a third of the Continental Army in the Finger Lakes Region struck a blow for American Independence.
