Beware the modern reprints, the illustrations are inferior reproductions and they do not have the fold-out map.

Soft cover. Condition: Poor. Book lacks spine and covers (for purposes of description, first page, or title page, and last page, will be described as if they were the covers). Staples in binding are rusting. 200mm tear along front cover (from bottom edge). 50mm tear in back cover. Some smaller tears and creases along edges of both covers. Covers, edges and multiple pages foxed and stained. Pages thumbed and browned, some creased. Stamps on some pages "Sydney Press Club". Last pages (161-164) detached. Book is heavily worn, in poor condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
