    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First edition thus. Boston: Tichnor and Fields, 163. 1st US edition thus, VG/. Two Volumes. Small red leather-bound books (with five raised bands), all edges gilt, gilt design on both panels, gilt lettering & designs on spines, marbleized end-papers. Bulwer-Lytton lived from 1831-1891. Wear and fraying to corners, light wear to spine ends & folds, a few surface scratches, former owner name in ink on preliminary blank page of each volume. Volume one contains The Wanderer (in Italy, France, England, Switzerland, Holland), Palengenesis and epilogue. Volume two contains, Clytemnestra,The Ear's Return, The Artist, Other Poems, Minor Poems and National Songs of Servia (Kossovo). Nice, small (5 & 1/2" x 3 & 5/8"), sturdy volumes.
