    Hardcover. Condition: Good- to very good condition. First edition Ex-Library. Large Quarto. (2) 62pp., 106 plates. Original blue cloth with blind-stamped ruling on covers, gilt lettering on spine. Material collected in Egypt during the summer and fall of 1904. The main object of the studies were monuments with recordings of the relations of ancient Egypt to foreign countries, especially Asia and Europe. Profusely illustrated with reproductions of b/w drawing and photographs in text and on one hundred and six plates, sixty-nine of them folding, including five in color, and seven photographic plates. Binding with light wear along edges, small chips and small closed tears, light scratches and lightly frayed at head and tail of spine. Signature pages one to fourteen loose but attached, pages seventeen through twenty-eight loose, and pages thirty-three to forty-three partially loose. Lower part of folding plate thirteen separated but present. Library stamps and numbering on inside cover, front free endpaper and verso of title page. Library stamp in text block. Binding and text block in good-, plates in very good condition.
