Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. 1st printing. Book is only Fair with the spine completely gone, but the contents are intact. Applique cover of Terrier Tim. Full color frontispiece on coated paper and throughout text. Previous owners inscription on front pastedown and dated 1920. Selling quality books for over 35 years.

Pages can include considerable notes--in pen or highlighter--but notes cannot obscure the text. Fair condition undated hardback without dust jacket. Light wear to boards with minor damage to the spine. Pages are tanned with bookplate to front endpaper. Main text clean and unmarked.

Very good small book in board covers with titles in red and black to front and on a paper label there is picture of Tom watching rabbits at play; rub to top spine corner just impinging a very little on the book title. Internally very good; dedication to half title page; beautifully illustrated with brightly coloured full page plates and b/w text illustrations; binding sound; no foxing; page edges tanned; unpaginated. A very scarce first edition.
