First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Stated First Edition with confirming Number Line. Signed and Inscribed by the author, Mignon G. Eberhardt. Once listed, this will be the Only Signed copy of this title for sale anywhere on the Internet. As you can see from the photographs, the covers of the book itself are in very good condition. They aren't soiled and they have little to no wear, just tiny creases at the bottom corners. The silver lettering on the spine is very bright. This book is also very solidly bound. No issues in that regard. The signed inscription is on the first front end paper. I've provided a photograph. It is written in pencil and reads 'To Georgine, with love from her god-mother, Mignon'. With the exception of this signed inscription no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. Nor are there any markings or attachments. The pages are very clean, although there is a little bit of dust soiling on the top and middle page edges. A sliver of this has just peeked over the edge of a few of the last pages of the book. The dust jacket is in very nice condition. You can see it in the first few photographs. There aren't any tears. It is also quite clean, although there is a little bit of age toning off the edges of the flaps and rear. The dust jacket will be fitted with a protective cover. It is NOT price-clipped and the flaps are in very good condition. In 1971 Ms. Eberhardt was awarded the Mystery Writers of America's Grand Master Award. In 1994, she received the Agatha Award: Malice Domestic Award for Lifetime Achievement. Inscribed by Author(s).
