Condition: Fair. 1927. No edition remarks. 191 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over blue cloth. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm. Minor inscriptions to front endpapers. Boards have moderate shelf wear with some rubbing, fraying and corner bumping. Some moderate sunning and tanning, particularly to spine. A tear in spine cloth at the word 'Story' of the title. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge wear with much of it missing.

Card Cover. Second Edition. Very good with a small chipto the top rear spine and tanned covers PP 31 Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Half-Leather Boards. Condition: Good. H. R. Millar; John Ley Pethybridge; T. W. Holgate; et al (illustrator). Blue leather and cloth hardcover with gilt-title 4-banded spine. Variously paginated [c.1000 pages]; all edges gilt profusely illustrated; marbled endpapers. Leather rubbed in place and a few cloth blemishes but overall a square, tight, clean copy; colourful and ornate dedication by the Lady Distributors to Tungate.to blank endpaper. This a bound volume of magazines [Sept. 1902 - Aug. 1905] of the influential Bury Brunswick Church. There are many contributors, including some of the most popular writers and illustrators of the period [more than listed here]. Images/further information available upon request.

1st edition pictorial boards Nice copy large octavo 70pp., col. frontis., col. & b/w pls., illusts. in text, Author was a clergyman from Armadale in Melbourne & the book is dedicated 'to the children of Australia'. With all 14 coloured plates & illustrations as called for. Boards showing wear at extremities & neat gift inscription dated 1933 o/w a nice copy of a very scarce title.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. The corners are rubbed down on the boards and some rubbing wear at the lower edges. Paste on black and white illustration of boy present on the front board. The boards are coverrd by a thin plastic cover. Name, date and a few numbers in ink in the inside of the front board. The hinges and the spine are very good. 193 pages. The inside pages look bright and appear unmarked. A few spots on the outside edge of the pages. The inside illustrations called for are all present. Scarce book. Seems to be only found in institutional settings per Worldcat.
