Evidently, the entire run of this short-lived publication of reprinted literature as well as some original local material. 12 original issues bound in one volume. Quarto, 11" tall, 378 pages, illustrated in black and white throughout, three-quarter black leather over black cloth. A good volume overall with moderate exterior shelf wear, fore-corner tips through to boards, spine leather rubbed and chipped; front endpaper is missing and a child had decorated the remaining endpapers with some 19th-century form of 'stickers'; internal binding solid, with paper moderately yellowed and scattered foxing throughout and a previous owner's name embossed on first page. Still a quite readable family magazine of the period. Scarce.…
