Paris, Chez Moutardier 1798.[Figurato-Raro] (cm. 29,3) Bella legatura originale in pieno vitello maculato, filetti ai piatti e dorso riccamente ornato con emblemi al centro degli specchi il tutto in oro.-pp. VIII, 192.con antiporta figurata + 48 bellissime tavv. f.t. in rame di cui 3 più volte ripiegate.Edizione rara apparsa nel 1789, e non citata dai principali repertori.la nostra edizione è ben impressa con i rami originali, alcuni datati 1760-1761-1762 da non confondere con le riedizioni del 1796 e 1805 con figure molto meno belle. Le tavv. sono firmate: Piauger, Tardieu, Graverot, Saint-Aubin, Aveline, Chenu, Gaucher, Lorraine, Mesnil, Ransonnet ecc.tutte molto belle e nitide.Per confronti con l'edizione del 1789 vedi:-BARBIER I 27;-CHOEN I p.1-BOISSAIS "Le livre a graveurs" 1948, pag 124;-SANDER "Les livres illustres francais" 1926, pag 1; nonchè GRAESSE e BRUNET.Vecchio minimo restauro agli angoli della legatura e alle cuffie, altrimenti bell'esemplare.
