He is probably best remembered for his juvenile fiction, of which over two-t…hirds were set in English Public Schools. The book is bound in the original grey cloth covered boards with brown titling and blue and black illustrations on the spine and front board. The case of the book is in very good condition with some shelf wear and light soiling to the boards. The spine is slightly faded and the spine ends are bumped. The contents are tight and clean with a crease running down the rear free endpaper, light foxing to the endpapers and heavier foxing to the half-title page and last page of the book.
