Three additional pages in back include brief biographies for three noted Oregonians. Pages are virtually pristine and intact except for light age toning. Covers are clean and intact overall but have splitting and chipping along spine (most apparent on back cover), slight darkening, and the small holes along spine. A Very Good copy. This is a collection of printed speeches that were originally given by two prominent Oregon settlers on the occasion of the 4th Annual Reunion of the Oregon Pioneer Association, a poem, and an article. In their addresses, Reuben P. Boise (1819-1907) and John Minto IV (1822-1915) each pay tribute to the Oregon pioneers and briefly describe historical events in Oregon's early history. Also included is a poem by E. Eberhardt in which he commemorates Oregon pioneers and an article by Jesse Applegate (1811-1888) titled, "A Day with the Cow Column of 1843.".
