The inaugural issue of this early comics fanzine. Includes an original illustrated strip titled "The Element" by Martin Russel and reviews of the then-new Doom Patrol and X-Men from National Comics (the precursor to DC Comics) and Marvel Comics, respectively, as well as an introduction to Tarzan ahead of the forthcoming CBS television series. From the collection of Marvel Comics colorist Andy Yanchus, with his handwritten Brooklyn, New York address on the rear panel, which served as a mailing label. Standard A4 format: [48] p. Mimeographed on the recto only of 8 1/2" x 11" white stock and bound with two staples. The outer panels are a little toned, with some edgewear associated with mailing, including a short tear to the top of the front panel and tiny puncture marks from the staple removed from the fore-edge for reading; else about very good.
