'Increase vigilance and defend the motherland' postcard-sized propaganda prints, 16 in total (15 individual images, 1 in duplicate, 4 missing from the original set of 20). Most are designed by People's Arts Societies in various provinces and cities, each with a different slogan. Prints have been well used, some slightly soiled with pin marks. Interestingly, two have pencil grid lines drawn on them probably with the plan to paint enlargements. The images are still bright with clear slogans front and back. 12.9 x 9.4cm These little prints warn about unspecified foreign enemies urging the people to get prepared to do battle.
