Inscribed to Dr Frank R Bradlow, the highly esteemed Africana specialist and collector. Fully bound in leather. Gilt decoration and titling. Six ridges along the spine. The boards are most handsome, very clubbable. End papers are marbled moire. The very early pages have some freckles of foxing about the page edge. Beyond this mild marking, the contents are most agreeable. They are fresh, bright, sound, serene, clean, clear, very confident and diligent, generous and amenable. A lovely, attractive book. fk.
