Condition: Very Good. 28 cm; portrait frontispiece, xiv, 256 pages, [7 leaves] genealogical tables, and 25 plates. Original cloth-backed boards, preserved in original board slipcase. Spine darkened; text about fine. Canada's largest brewery was founded by the Molson family in 1786. Building on that success, the family financed Canada's first steamboat, built its first railroad, and established Molson's Bank, which printed its own currency. Edition limited to 500 copies, of which this is #177.
