Very rare to find a signed copy by Minelli--signed in 1930 before he was well known and before Judy Garland starred in the Wizard of Oz in 1939. 7 Beardsley like wiid-cut black and white semi erotic drawings. A very good copy without the rare dustjacket. Burgundy cloth boards with silver lettering and decorations on front board and spine--although the spine is just a bit faded. The burgundy cloth on the rear boards has some light streaking--uncut paper edges. A clean copy and mostly tight hinges. Caroline Rau was married to David Wallerstein--who was on the board of directors of Disney, ABC and later on McDonalds. He was a persona friend of Walt Disney and his wife was a well known Chicago socialite. Vincente Minelli (illustrator). Signed by Illustrator(s).
