Contents cover Early Days and Lisburn CC; Playing for Ireland; On Tour; and good chapter on Irish Clubs [including the North West, Donemana, Limavady, Brigade, Eglinton]. When a 38-year-old veteran he was called upon by Middlesex as cover for John Emburey and Phil Edmonds for the 1981 and 1983 seasons, and proved more than capable at county level. Monteith captained Ireland on 38 occasions and ended his playing career with Ireland with 326 wickets in 76 matches. Pages [viii], 153; illustrated with black and white photographs.
