Softcover. Condition: Near Fine. First edition. Foreword by E. M. Coulter, Regents Professor Emeritus of History, University of Georgia. Slim octavo. 66pp. Glossy wrappers with light wear and soil, near fine. Briefly Inscribed by Moore on the title page. In her introduction, the author describes this book as "the true story of integration of schools as it affected a small Southern town and the county in which it is located in the State of Georgia." Moore, who is white, worked as a counselor at the school. The final two pages print five positive blurbs for the book by school officials, four of which worked in Newton County, Georgia.
