Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. 320pp, various black and white photographic plates. Black cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. Signed by the author on the half title page. 8vo. Rubbed corners and spine ends, bottom edges mottling. Top text block edges tanning. Endpapers foxing along with some other pages; previous owner's name crossed out on verso of front free endpaper, volume quite loose. Otherwise, internally neat and clean. Dust jacket protected with Brodart-style sleeve, has areas of loss, shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, price clipped.
