E trova nelle sue poesie delle affinità con la poetessa giapponese Akazome Emon. Di Leonardo esalta il vigore virile e la bellezza fisica, e riportando un sonetto ("l'unica sua cosa poetica giunta fino a noi") ci vede la rivelazione di un amore fisico per la Gioconda sul cui sorriso ricama molto a lungo: "neppure tutto il genio di Leonardo sarebbe bastato ad immortalare sulla tela la vaghissima Gherardini, se egli non l'avesse amata. Lo ricambiò essa?". MORANDO, collaboratore di questa rivista, scrittore, giornalista.
