Contains stories by Charlotte Armstrong (The Ring in the Fish), Hugh Pentecost (Judson Pentecost Philips - The Girl Who Lived Dangerously), E X Ferrars (The Case of Two Questions), Lord Dunsany (Edward John Moreton Drax Plunkett, 18th Baron Dunsany - Three Men in a Garden), Craig Rice (Georgiana Ann Randolph Craig - Smoke Rings), Eva-Lis Wuorio (Look to Your Skeletons), P G Wodehouse (Jeeves and the Stolen Venus), Dashiell Hammett (In the Morgue), and others. Light wear at the edges. Darkening to a strip along the fore edge of the front cover - .25" at the bottom, gradually diminishing towards the top. Light crease at the top corner of the pages. Small, light damp stain to the bottom corner of the pages and another one to the fore edge about 1" above it (penetrates about .125" in the margin, gradually fading out toward the back).
