Condition: Good. Bound Typescript. First Draft (stated). Some general wear, bumps/creases. "Based on the original letters of Robert Browning and Elizabeth Barrett Browning". Judge Fred G. Moritt also turned to Rudolf Besier's "The Barretts of Wimpole Street" for the basis of this unproduced musical. In turn, Ronald Millar based his 1964 musical "Robert and Elizabeth" on the versions of both Moritt and Besier. A success on the London stage, "Robert and Elizabeth" didn't make it to Broadway due to a legal dispute with Moritt.
