Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Light orange cloth binding w/title in black lettering on front cover and spine; 172pp; frontis portrait of the author; index. This copy is inscribed and signed by the author March 2, 1952. In the foreword, Schott writes that he "endeavored to give unbiased opinions and due credit to [European] resorts of importance, according to their curative and recuperative claims and values and considering the spas in general, as complementary adjuvants to natural hydro-mineral methods in treating many diseases." Includes many resorts in France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and several other countries. Fascinating book and still of considerable interest as alternative "cures" and relief. Except for a large 25 in black crayon on the front flyleaf, the book is in VG+ to Fine condition. [WAH-206].
