Although it bears quite a bit of use the spine is still relatively strong (no page separation), and there are no tears, no page folds, and no marks or notations. The author (1887 to 1957) was an American lyricist, vaudeville actor, playwright, and theatrical producer. He worked with Martha Raye, Billy Rose, Gracie Allen, and many others. He was married seven times. An entertaining and comical memoir of Morrissey's madcap adventures in show business. Includes cartoon illustrations and several photographs. Indexed. 323 pages.
