Add to basketSoft cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Cover states "Readers, now you can read Superman stories published before you were born! Less than 100 copies of this issue ("Superman, Cartoon Hero") are in existence! And . . . this story ("Case of the Funny Paper Crimes") is so rare, collectors will pay $30.00 and up for a perfect…copy!" (Yes, we thought it said $3,000, too. Nope, $30.00 in 1966!) "Plus other out-of-print stories featuring the most popular action hero of all time!" Whether this copy grades "very good" or "very-good-plus" is, of course, a judgment call. It's all there (the pages are actually NUMBERED!); it's holding together well, but internal page edges are moderately age-toned, and there's some creasing to outside edge of front wrap. Catalogs $200; that means this copy in "very good" condition should be worth $70 to $80; we started at $47.50 and have now dropped to $9 because a) no one likes to pay "full catalog," and b) while we've been successfully grading BOOKS for many years with few complaints, we claim no separate expertise in the nuanced pursuit of comic book grading. Reduced from $47.
