Reprinted from S.A. Archives Year Book 1947. Tall 8vo; original red cloth, lettered in black on spine and upper cover; pp. (iv) + [201-304]. Cover partially sunned, with some scuff marks to lower board; occasional fox spots. Very good condition. "As a genealogist he showed expertise by tracing the origins of the earlier Kruger family and in 1947 he contributed 'Lives of the earlier Krugers told in a revised genealogical table' to the Archives Year Book for South African History. . A shy and retiring man who never sought the limelight, and a good medical practitioner, Mossop remained on the Van Riebeeck Society council until his death." - DSAB V, p. 524.
