Nice copy. Book shows no wear and would be graded Fine or As New but for slight yellowing of pastedowns, flyleaves, and edges of text block. No other defects, possibly unread. Dust jacket is clean, bright, and unmarked, with minor shelf wear and two 1/4" tears. "This book is an hour by hour account of the Germans' little known but brilliant military coup" which resulted in the fall of the "impenetrable" Belgian WWII garrison. 204 pages, b&w photos.

Exterior covers completely clean to bottom edge of the spine and back cover. No bumped corners. No other wear or damage to book. Dust jacket is not price-clipped. There are a few flecks of dirt on the back panel as well as some scratches in the glossy surface and a 1/4" edge tear. Slight wear otherwise. The fort on the border of Belguim, Holland and Germany was the keystone of the Belguim defense. Using gliderborne troops for the first time in history 78 German troops were able to take the fortress manned by roughly 800 troops in a matter of hours. This break in the line led to the capitulation of Belgium and eventually the British evacuation at Dunkirk. Written by a US WWII Glider Infantry Regimental Commander. Very good copy of the hard cover book in a good dust jacket. The top edge of the dust jacket's front cover has edge wear. 192 pages.
