Trial examples were considered for each case. Results obtained from both manual calculations and GeoEngineering were compared and found to be well in agreement. Based on the obtained results, GeoEngineering can be recommended for the day-to-day practices in geotechnical engineering for its simplicity and robust and easy to understand calculations.
