These stains, however, are only perceptible in certain light. There is a diagonal stain on the bottom text block. This stain does not bleed to the text pages. The spin…e has some cloth tears and chinks missing from both the top (1/8") and bottom (1/2"). About 1" tear along spine seam on top edge of spine. Corners are slightly rubbed. The end papers are free from remainder marks and book plates save a penciled price on the end paper directly across from the half title page. End paper color is an off white. Half title and last page of index are heavily foxed. This book overs the leading early members of the Royal College of Physicians. Writing attributed to Dr. William Macmichael (1784-1839).
