Blue cloth, gilt title on front board, 57pp. Frontispiece, illustrated with black and white photos, bookplate on front pastedown with sticker wear on bottom of ff/ endpaper, spine head a bit rubbed, about fine. This centenary edition encapsulates the history of the Munro family who developed mathematical, optical, meteorological and banking equipment, fields in which it is still prominent.
