Additionally Dillard has written the names of about a dozen well-known poets not included in the collection, including Anne Sexton, "John Ashberry" [sic], Adrienne Rich, etc., in blue ink at the…top of the acknowledgements page near the front of the book. Some of her favorites, maybe, or poets she feels were unjustly omitted? The premise of this book is that 100 poets chose a favorite poem from their own work--a neat idea for an anthology. Dillard is not among the contributors.
