Many Canadian printed Pyramids of the '50s used a series of numbers that differed from the US. A 191-page science fiction anthology, reprinting 9 stories from the 1950 hardcover edition. Spine and cover creases, some pages extrude from the page block but are still attached, edgewear, a good copy.

Blue yellow-lettered board covers clean but faint suggestion of spine end rubbing a couple of trivial edge bumps. Two of the 8 papers are in German. The main point of interest in this work is Henry A. Murray's invited opening address 'Prospect for Psychology' which is actually an account of a mescaline trip taken under his then Harvard colleague Timothy Leary's guidance. Murray was 68 years old at this point. Leary also addressed the Congress but his talk is not in this volume.

Light corner bumping to the boards. Page edges are lightly browned with some brown spotting to the top edges and a few light marks to the fore edges and a little dark marking to the bottom corners. The pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. Price clipped jacket has some discolouration and browning and fading to the front panel and the spine. There is some chipping to the edges, a half inch closed tear to the bottom edge of the front panel and a one inch square section missing from the base of the spine. First printing.
