Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Included. 1st Edition. Gilt lettering on red cloth covered boards. Heavy 11" x 8-3/4", 687pp volume. MIT lectures on strain gage fundamentals and techniques, with diagrams, formulas & charts. Found between the pages of this book was a page from a 1963 desk calendar with calculations on the back side. At the bottom on the front side was printed: "Disclose classified information only when a need to know exists". The original owner's name is on the first free end paper. The spine and top edge of the book covers are faded. The volume is otherwise in near fine condition.
