The first four only of this series, giving brief histories of the cemeteries of this western Wisconsin county, and transcribing the notations on each marker, where legible. A total of eight volumes were planned, but we believe the series went to at least 11 volumes, all of which are scarce. We have Volume 1, 1980, covering Honey Creek, part of Prairie du Sac, Sumpter & Troy Townships, 120 pages; Volume 2, 1981, on Washington & Westfield Townships, 116 pages; Volume 3, 1982, including more of Prairie du Sac and Sauk City (and August Derleth & family), 156 pages; and Volume 4, 1983, on Delton, Fairfield, Greenfield, and Merrimac Townships, 125 pages. Each has an index, lists of lot-owners, maps, notes on family plots. Laid in are a couple of letters from the publisher, and several flyers advertising publication of various titles in the series. Thick stapled pamphlets, tan covers. Light wear, mild creasing, general signs of use, mostly to volume 1; embossed notary seal on each first leaf; a few stray pencil notes, some fading to spines.
