Maroon Boards with gilt lettering to spine, Illustrated end papers, 160pp. First Edition 1st printing 1954.VG/ Poor+(Book- Name of previous owner to free front end paper which has been partially snopaked out. date of publication in ink to foot and a few light foxing spots. Boards clean and free from shelf wear. Dust Jacket- price clipped with numerous tears max- 30mm top rear panel and ditto to top front panel, nicks and with some loss- max 13x15mm chip to top front panel near spine fold with lesser pieces of loss around head and tail, associated line creases and colour loss rubbing generally to extremities. Now in a removable proprietary protective sleeve- the white backing paper of which has been masked by colouring so as not to offend the eye on the shelf).
