Pictorial Hard Cover. Condition: Good. H. Boylston Dummer (illustrator). Eight stories, from 1 page ot 4 pages of text; full page and 1/4 p. color illustrations. Unpaginated; 3/8 in. thick. The spine strip's cloth is missing pieces in ten places. The boards' front corners are rubbed through to the board. The back board has color loss from shelf wear rubbing. The front board has a 1/4 in. scraped spot below the bear's ear. The pages are clean and bright. One page margin has a 1 1/4 in. peeled tear that is tipped back together with glue. Text is clean, with lovely full color illustrations. In worn, torn and tattered DJ, with a large chip (about 1/4 of the rear of DJ) missing. Pictorial endpapers. [34] pp. Verses by Munson about each of the most important animals in the zoo; each animal is illustrated with a wonderful full color full page drawing of the animal in action by Sarg. The condition of the book is FINE. The condition of the dust wrapper is VERY GOOD.
