Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Special Edition. This final draft screenplay is inscribed & signed by the author, Nelson Lyon. The inscription reads, "To my Sweetheart Julie - Nelson". The script is a relatively unknown screenplay by Lyon and is dated August 15, 1973 & is in a stiff paper cover with two screw-type rivets holding it together. Lyon was binging with John Belushi when Belushi died of a drug overdose in 1982. Lyon also wrote for Saturday Night Live and collaborated with Terry Southern on some of the show's episodes. He also wrote & directed "The Telephone Book" in 1971, his first movie. He was known to associate with Andy Warhol and William S. Burroughs. Condition: minor wear with some nicking to the black paper cover with a 3" tear to the bottom edge of the front panel; else in very good condition. 140 pages. Inscribed by Author(s).

Early Draft script (though noted as a "Final Draft screenplay") for the 1971 film dated two years prior to its release. The number "283" is annotated in faded manuscript ink at the top right corner of the title page. A young woman receives an obscene phone call and becomes obsessed with the anonymous caller, trying to track him down. An important, slightly experimental X-rated comedy that is ground zero in the history early 1970s sexual climate in America, predicting the more conventional porn chic that would land with the release of "Deep Throat" the following year. Set in New York City, shot on location in New York City. Maroon titled studio duplicating leather wrappers. Title page present, dated June 25, 1969, noted as Final Draft, with credits for screenwriter Nelson Lyon. 114 leaves, with last page of text numbered 111. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only, with blue revision pages, dated 10/8/69. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good with some soil, bound with two gold screws. Vinegar Syndrome 7.
