Includes demographic, meteorological, forest coverage, geology, population maps and even a map of light houses. Map legends in Swedish and Finnish. Name on front free endpaper. Binding is a bit scuffed, internally nice condition overall. Many of these maps were presented at the Sixth International Geographical Congress in summer 1895. A text volume was also published but this is not present here. This is the first edition, a second edition was done in 1910. Considered the world's first national atlas (despite Finland being a part of the Russian Empire at the time!). Uncommon.
