The frontispiece of William Shakespeare has been lightly scribbled on with pencil. There was sticker of 3 Kewpies pasted on the copyright page and some of the sticker has stuck to the following page. Aft…er that, the pages are fine. Copyright date of 1907, no other print date given. These stories have been retold by E. Nesbit. Illustrated with many new color plates and fine pen drawings by Max Bihn. Edited and arranged by E. T. Roe. 317 pages. End papers are green with white flower decorations. Back inside endpaper is torn from the bottom about 1/2 way up. On backside of ffep, there is a Christmas gift inscription to PO, dated Christmas, 1911. Frontispiece is loose half-way. Page edges are decorative red and yellowish design. This book has a red cover with gold print on spine. The cover of this book has much wear and it has been laminated.
