(ca. 195x), (24) pag., 8 paginagrote kleurenplaten en 12 zwart-wit tek. bij de tekst en origineel sdoepel karton geniet kleurenomslag door Netty Heyligers, folio (32 x 23,2 cm.). = Mooi exemplaar. Voorplat rechts onder met codering "101". Rijmvertelling over een oom die met het vliegtuig uit de Oost komt en een aapje meebrengt. Simmie veroorzaakt veel problemen in huis en wordt daarom aan de dierentuin gegeven. Er zijn twee verschillende uitgaven geweest, dat blijkt uit een afbeelding van het voorplat bij een artikel over Clinge Doorenbos van Marcus van der Heide in het Contactblad van de Historische Kring Bussum (jrg. 16, no. 2, sept. 2000).
