Raccolta di componimenti in versi del giurista e poeta napoletano Niccolò Capassi (1671-1745), noto per le arguzie, le maldicenze e le oscenità che amava tradurre in versi in dialetto napoletano. Sono qui raccolte poesie in latino, iscrizioni, sonetti, componimenti sugli strangolapreti (dove si nomina la mozzarella) e gli gnocchi, e i primi sette libri dell'iliade di Omero tradotta in lingua napoletana.
