Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. This 1935 first edition of 328 pages has 64 illustrations and a fold out map at the end of the book. The only writing is the previous owner's gift inscription on the fep. There is spotting on the top edge and light foxing on the foredge. There is light bumping at the spine endsalong with a bit of edgewear at the top of the spine. The book is tight with no loose pages. It is very good. Language: eng.

Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Unclipped jacket has light edge wear with minor tears and chipping. Mild rubbing and marking.

Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering has become dull. Book has a slight forward lean.

Condition: Good. Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A copy that has been read but remains in clean condition. All of the pages are intact and the cover is intact and the spine may show signs of wear. The book may have minor markings which are not specifically mentioned. A booklet describing an hour long guided walk showing areas of istorical interest, folds out to reveal a map and a form of slipcase with 12 numbered cards. Some cards have a little annotation. Shows only minor wear and marking otherwise.
